As the production areas are becoming more remote and the population is becoming concentrated in the cities that specialize in the products related to the commercial agricultural and fishing industry, the committee will help with the smooth distribution of agricultural and fisheries products from the producers to the consumers, based on measures that focus on rationality and efficiency. In particular, the committee will focus on creating farming and fishing villages that can create new added value and pleasant lifestyles, with an emphasis on information, new technologies, and exports, in preparation for the changes occurring in the world farming and fishing industries such as the WTO, FTA, etc.

- Matters under the jurisdiction of the Farming Bureau, the Maritime and Fisheries Bureau and the sites that are under their supervision
- Matters under the jurisdiction of the agricultural research services
Committee Duties
- Operation of standing committee meetings
- Creation and examination of bills such as ordinances, propositions, and motions
- Reviews of bills such as budgets and accounts
- Dealing with civil affairs such as petitions, appeals, etc.
- Audits and inspections of administrative works
- Local activities of the standing committee, etc.
